This weekend marks as a potentially fantastic and awesome begginning towards school holidays. Encription a freestyle/ popping/ bboying dance competition held at Australia's very own ... Canberra. That's right you heard me Canberra. (Don't stare at me like that!)Out of all Hip Hop communed places, Encription will prove to be one of Canberra's most prestigious and outstanding dance competition as dancers from around Australia are there to leave their mark in the minds of dancers.
However I have an ultimatum. I swore an oath to never do anymore dancing competitions ever again until school is over, more specifically, until HSC is over. But this competition is held at the very begginning of school holidays!
Atleast 5 members of crew Buoyan will venture to Canberra by bus which is a total of $45 there and back. Lucky for me, I have met and became the greatest friends with crews from Canberra who are helping us in finding a spot for Buoyan to sleep in. These crews are DC and BPMafia. We first met BPMafia at Groove Battlegrounds 2008 and have been in contact since. They are such an assorbing and characterizing crew, its absolutely enjoyable to be around them.
The other crew is: DC crew. I and Cedric had spent considerate time with them when they came to World Hip Hip Champs this year. They placed second and we Buoyan crew placed 3rd! Only one place from qualifying to Las Vegas as Australian crew representatives. During our time spent with DC crew, we established loving bonds with all crew members. They are a part of me and i am most fortunate to have them as best friends! AMAZING. absolutely amazing.
So a strong part of me wants to go to Canberra to compete or watch the competition as well as see my beloved dance family! What to do!!!!!
